Arsenal will move for France Under-21 defender Mamadou Sakho in the summer, according to reports.
The 19-year-old currently plays his football for Paris Saint Germain, who are desperate to keep hold of him.
He signed a new contract with the Ligue 1 side last January, meaning he is committed to the club until 2012.
However, Arsene Wenger has kept a close eye on his progress and is reportedly preparing a £12 million bid.
Sakho has made 28 appearances for PSG this season, scoring one goal along the way.
